
Dressed up in red 🔴, white ⚪️, and blue 🔵, among other creative outfits, Big Foot students celebrated day three of Homecoming week. The theme for today is USA, which coincides with the overall theme of Homecoming this year, "Party in the USA." Which costume is your favorite?






Students in Ms. Krick's PE Grey had a golf unit early this fall. Students ended the unit going to Big Foot Golf Range to pratice their golf wings. Thank you to Big Foot Golf Range for always welcoming and supporting our students!

The Big Foot Equestrian Team competed in a 2 day event that has multiple areas of the sport ranging from Showmanship, Walk Trot, Trail, Jumping, Cart Driving, Ranch Riding, Western & English classes and Speed classes. Teams from all over the State come to compete in the event in Elkhorn WI.
The Big Foot team was made up of Gwen Jacobs, Emily Zimmerman, Sami Kust, & Hannah Anderson. They are coached by Sue Jacobs.
The girls placed 3rd in our Division. They each competes in 6 areas of competition each day and did an amazing job..





The World Dairy Expo in Madison WI is the global meeting place for the dairy industry. The expo is an opportunity for anyone involved in the industry to come together for a week to network, learn the latest market developments, and attend a variety of trade and dairy cattle shows.
The expo hosts a diverse audience, with people traveling across the globe to attend. Last year, 86 countries were represented, the top countries represented in attendance were Mexico, Canada, Germany, Brazil, and Columbia. Yesterday the Big Foot FFA members had the opportunity to visit the expo grounds and take in all the event had to offer. Special thanks to our parents for chaperoning our students at the event.

National Custodian Day, celebrated every year on October 2, presents the perfect opportunity to recognize and appreciate the custodians who work hard to keep facilities clean and sanitary. A big shout out to Ryan, Barry, Jeff, Craig, Bill, Mike and David.

Starting this week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, NHS will be holding tutoring in Mr. Nickels room. Tutors will be available from 2:50 until 3:45. The first day tutoring will be offered is Tuesday, October 1st. Please reach out to Mrs. Nickel if you have any questions. Students who need help in any subject, or just a place to do homework, are welcome! We also provide snacks to all student who come in!


Don't forget if you did not have your picture taken for the yearbook/student ID or if you'd like to have it retaken this will happen on October 15 from 1 to 3 PM


The JV2 volleyball team won 1st place at the Kenosha Bradford Quad on Monday. The team went 3-0 and beat Cudahy, Kenosha Bradford and Wilmot. Congrats to the team!


Our softball team will be traveling to Florida this spring break for a tournament! Please consider attending this fundraiser to support them!

This week in our Honors Jazz Ensemble, under the guidance of Mr. Raskin, our talented student-musicians prepared an exciting performance for the upcoming Homecoming Parade. Every year, the various Jazz bands join with the Symphonic Band to form Big Foot's marching band. The marching band will be performing at the parade on Friday, October 4 at 2:00pm. The parade will run along Kenosha Street after Fifth Avenue then circle around the Square.
