Last week, during Ms. Theis' Integrated Science class, students were in charge of creating, collecting, and analyzing data of an experiment that they designed. They were able to exercise their creativity and then test their hypothesis.

This week, students are hard at work practicing their notes and learning songs in piano class. Big Foot offers two different piano classes, Piano 1 and Piano 2, both taught by our new music teacher, Ms. Williams.

Hey parents while your kids are at the homecoming dance why don't you come to the Fine Arts concert tonight and have your own party? It's the Blooze brothers. Tickets are still available. It starts at 7 o'clock.
Friday afternoon, before the Homecoming parade, Students competed in powderpuff volleyball 🏐. Male students, coached by their fellow female classmates, competed against one another in fierce volleyball matches 🏐. In the end the Seniors 🟠 were victorious with Juniors 🟣 taking a narrow second place. Third place was claimed by the Sophomores 🟢 and fourth by the Freshmen 🟡. Do you prefer the powderpuff volleyball 🏐 or powderpuff football 🏈 games?
Thursday, October 3, marked the Clash of the Classes. Big Foot students competed in a variety of different Olympic-style events including: the egg toss, musical chairs 🪑, a paper airplane ✈️ making contest, pie eating 🥧, and more! After fierce competition from each grade the final champions were the Sophomores 🟢, the Juniors 🟣 took second, followed by the Seniors 🟠 in third, and lastly the freshmen 🟡. Which grade were you rooting for this year?
On Thursday, October 3, the Big Foot students kicked off their competitive events with powderpuff football🏈. In this exciting game, females students competed in flag football 🏈 as they are coached by their male classmates. Running routes 🏃 and catching passes, the students worked hard to secure the win, but in the end the victory 🏆 went to the Juniors 🟣. The Seniors 🟠 took second place, followed by the Sophomores 🟢 in third, and the Freshmen 🟡 fourth. Do you prefer to watch powderpuff football 🏈 or powderpuff volleyball 🏐?
Even the BFHS Class of 1984 got in the spirit of Homecoming. This year they are Celebrating 40 years since they graduated!
Wrapping up our Homecoming dress up week, Big Foot students and teachers can be found sporting Chiefs spirit wear. Others just wore our official school colors of Scarlet 🟥 and Silver ◻️. Which dress up day was your favorite???
