How to Deposit Funds
BFHS has an automated cashier system. Please encourage your child to bring their school ID to scan at meal time. Using this system decreases the amount of time for students to get through the food service lines. The cashier will debit purchases from that student's account. There are several ways to deposit funds into your child's account:
Deposits by e-Funds :
e-Funds: Click on the word "e-Funds" for a direct link. You may deposit as a guest or set up an account.
Click here for the Parent Step-By-Step Guide for e-funds.
Important things to keep in mind:
Must have your student's ID# to deposit funds.
Credit Card payments may take 1-2 business days to process
Debit Cards and Checks may take 3-5 business days to process
You can set up e-mail reminders in e-Funds to notify you when your child's lunch account is getting low
Deposit In Person:
Deposit cash or check in the money box located in the foyer across from the office. Please have the student ID# and/or first and last name on the check.
Deposit cash or check with Mrs.Utesch at meal time.
Drop off a check or cash at the main office.
There will be one line open at meal times that will accept cash. No change will be made. The balance will be deposited into your student's lunch account.
Deposits Via Mail:
Please mail checks to BFHS at the address below. Please include your student(s) name and ID# on any checks for food service.

Account Balance:
Follow the steps below to check our family account via the Internet.
Log on to PowerSchool
On the left navigation pane, click Balance.
Low Balance
When a family account reaches $10 or less, the cashier will remind your student. BFHS will also send an email message to your primary email address if it is on file. If you don't have an email address, then a letter will be mailed home. Please note that BFHS will not allow families to carry a negative account balance, per schoolboard policy #8500. (see below)
Special Options:
Parents may designate if they do not want their children to purchase a la carte items or if they wish to set a dollar limit each day for money spent on ala carte items. (Note: second milk is considered an ala carte item.) If you do not wish your student to purchase A la Carte items, please let Brenda Utesch know and she can put a note on their account.
