Mr. Doug Parker
Doug Parker has served as District Administrator for Big Foot Union High School since 2017. Doug’s passion is to repay those who invested in him by creating a positive learning environment full of academic, artistic, athletic, and activity opportunities for students to thrive. A 1986 BFHS graduate, he knows what it means to be a Chief, and looks for those same qualities when hiring staff. The teachers, administrators, and support staff were always there for him in high school, and he wants to repay that to every student that walks our hallowed halls.
Doug earned his district administrator license from St. Mary’s University (MN) in 2013, and attained his business managers license in 2018 from the same institution. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business & Marketing Education from UW-Whitewater in 1992, and completed his Master’s Degree in Management at Cardinal Stritch University in 1995.
Prior to his current role, Doug served in multiple positions from 2003 - 2017 at Whitewater High School including Business Education teacher, Dean of Students, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Before moving to Whitewater, he worked in the Palmyra-Eagle Area School district (1992-2003). He spent nine years as a classroom teacher, five as teacher/Athletic Director, and one as Dean of Students/Athletic Director.
Doug serves on many educational boards and committees state wide, and is an active member locally in the Geneva Lakes West Rotary and Big Foot Lions Club. He spends all his free time with his family and has three children. Brooke is a nurse, Bryan is a college football coach, and Annabelle is a student at Walworth Elementary. Doug’s wife Kristin is the Dean of Students at Delavan-Darien High School, and they reside in Walworth.

Principal
Mr. Jeremy Andersen
Jeremy Andersen has proudly served as Principal at Big Foot Union High School since 2020. Prior to starting at Big Foot, Jeremy served as Associate Principal at Burlington High School from 2015-2020 and as a Social Studies teacher and coach at Delavan-Darien High School from 2000 to 2015.
A 1995 graduate of Delavan-Darien High School, Jeremy earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies Education from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2000. He continued his educational journey and completed his Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Olivet Nazarene University in 2006 and Principal Licensure through Concordia University - Wisconsin in 2015.
His goal is to help guide and prepare ALL students for their future beyond high school. Big Foot has amazing opportunities in academics, arts, activities, and athletics that make this a great place to learn and grow. You will find him often at BFHS events and supporting students in all of the wonderful activities that Big Foot High School has to offer.
Jeremy and his wife Allyssa reside in Walworth and are both career-long educators committed to serving students in the local area. Together, they have four children and enjoy spending time at their many activities and traveling on new adventures both near and far.

Email Bailey Racky
Assistant Principal (A-L) / Athletic Director
Ms. Bailey Racky
Bailey Racky has worked at Big Foot Foot High School since 2019, and serves as Assistant Principal (A-L) and Co-Athletic Director for BFHS. She is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the following sports: Volleyball, Girls Tennis, Boys Soccer, Boys Basketball, Boys Swim, Girls Soccer, Softball, Boys Tennis. Bailey is also responsible for the athletic department budget and social media.
Bailey earned her Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in 2019 and Principal Licensure through Saint Mary’s of Minnesota in 2020. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Winona State University in Physical Education & Health Education in 2012.
Prior to Big Foot, Bailey coached collegiate volleyball at UW-Whitewater in 2019. She has also taught Health and Physical Education and coached volleyball and soccer at Catholic Central High School (Burlington, WI) and Wilmot Union High School (Wilmot, WI). Bailey is also a 2007 graduate of Big Foot High School.

Email Mike Welden
Assistant Principal (M-Z) / Athletic Director
Mr. Mike Welden
Mike Welden began as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Big Foot High School in July 2021. He is currently serving in his 4th year as the athletic director for football, cross country, girls swim, girls basketball, wrestling, hockey, track and field, baseball, and boys golf.
Mike earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University in July 2011. Mike received his Bachelor’s of Science in Education from UW-Whitewater in December 2007. Prior to Big Foot, Mike served as a Physical Education Teacher in the Grafton School district. While in Grafton he taught k-5 and 9-12 physical education for 12 years. Along with being an educator, Mike has coached football for 14 years, with the first 11 being at Grafton and the last four at Big Foot High School.
Mike is married to his wife Melissa, who is a fourth grade teacher at Clinton Elementary, and has two daughters, Aubrey and Delaney, who are 4 and 6 years old.

Email Stacie Sheppard
Director of Pupil Services
Mrs. Stacie Sheppard
Stacie Sheppard transitioned to the role of Director of Pupil Services in 2022. Within this role she is the district assessment coordinator, and leads the special education, English language, and alternative education teams.
Stacie is a Big Foot High School graduate who returned to Big Foot to start her teaching career in 2014, when she was hired as an academic interventionist and social studies teacher. In 2018, Stacie worked with Doug Parker to develop an alternative education program at Big Foot, offering at-risk students a different path to graduation through a GEDO#2 and competency program. Stacie served proudly as the alternative education teacher for the next several years. During her time as a teacher at Big Foot she has been involved in several facets of the Big Foot community, serving as the NHS advisor, bowling coach, junior class adviser, data team member, and assessment coordinator.
After graduating from Big Foot in 2003, Stacie attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and received a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science. In 2013, she returned to Whitewater to receive her teaching certification in history. In 2017, Stacie received her Master’s Degree in Educational Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University. Looking for ways to better serve the students of Big Foot High School, she returned to school several times over the next few years receiving a certification in Alternative Education through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a certification in Reading through the University of Wisconsin-Stout. In 2022, she completed programming through Saint Mary’s of Minnesota to receive a Principal License and Director of Special Education and Pupil Services License.
Stacie and her husband Kenny have two children, James and Samantha. James attends Lakeland School in Elkhorn and Samantha is proud to be a Hawk at Sharon Community School. The family enjoys attending as many Big Foot High School events as possible and are often seen at sporting events, plays, and concerts.

Business Director
Mrs. Laura Long
Laura Long began as Business Director for Big Foot High School in November 2017. Laura is responsible for a district budget of over $10 million dollars and works with a talented group of people to keep the budget on track. Laura enjoys the challenge of her position and that every day brings something different.
Laura earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2002 and an Associate Degree in Business from Gateway Technical Institute, Elkhorn, WI in 1992.
Prior to Big Foot High School, Laura served as the Business Manager for Linn J6 School District for 18 years including Sharon J11 School District for 11 of those 18 years. Laura has worked within the Big Foot Area Schools since coming to the area in 1988, giving her over 30 years of experience within the school system.
Laura is married with three grown children who attended Big Foot High School. Three grandchildren keep her busy in her spare time. When she is able, Laura enjoys a good book.

Human Resources Director
Mrs. Jenny Skemp
Jenny Skemp has served as the Human Resources Director for Big Foot High School since 2018. In addition to Human Resources, Jenny is responsible for employee benefits and payroll. She has also been the Administrative Assistant for Special Education since 2020. Jenny’s favorite aspect of her role is onboarding new employees because she enjoys sharing with them all that Big Foot has to offer.
Jenny earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from Gateway Technical College, Elkhorn, WI in 2016 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Herzing University, Kenosha, WI in 2018.
Prior to Big Foot, Jenny has 13 years of experience in the medical field and insurance billing, giving her a diverse background of experience to better serve employee’s with their insurance benefits.
In her spare time, Jenny enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and children.

Email Brenda Utesch
Food Services Director
Mrs. Brenda Utesch
Brenda Utesch began as Food Service Director on July 1, 2019. She has always had a love of cooking and being in the kitchen. Brenda is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the food service department for Big Foot High School. As Food Service Director, Brenda oversees all aspects of the department, including food safety, nutrition and menu planning, customer service, and personnel management, just to name a few.
Brenda also oversees the Free and Reduced Eligibility Program. She is a member of the Wellness Committee at BFHS and a member of The Wisconsin School Nutrition Association.
This year Brenda completed all of the training for the DPI’s Goal orientated Achievement Learning Skills (GOALS) training program and obtained the GOALS Certificate of Excellence, Director Level Award.
Brenda is a former Big Foot graduate. Prior to working at Big Foot High School, Brenda was a travel agent for 2 years and then joined the family business, Koerner Bus Service, Inc., where she was co-owner and Vice President. The business was sold in June of 2019 and she began her career here as Food Service Director at Big Foot High School.
Brenda is married to Craig, of 37 years, and has a daughter, 31 and a son, 26 who also attended Big Foot High School. Brenda’s favorite places to travel are Northern Wisconsin, North Shore of Minnesota, and Hawaii. She also enjoys to cook, watch any Wisconsin sporting event and spend time with her two dogs and her family.

Building and Grounds Director
Mr. Ryan Zoellner
Ryan Zoellner is the Building and Grounds Director here at Big Foot High School. Mr. Zoellner has worked in the maintenance department with the Big Foot community for the past 7 years, showing his commitment to this school and its community. As building and grounds director, Ryan oversees and aids with cleaning and upkeep of the entire building, inside and out!
Prior to working with Big Foot High School, Ryan worked with Expert Plumbing and Heating for 18 years. While with this organization he earned his journeyman’s plumbing license. This experience equipped Ryan with a knowledge of plumbing, the value of hard work, and troubleshooting techniques that have not only aided in his professional career but laid the foundations for the hands-on approach he takes here at Big Foot High.
Outside of his professional commitments, Ryan loves spending time with his daughter, family, and friends. Additionally, Ryan enjoys spending his free time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, working with livestock, or camping.

Technology Director
Mrs. Beth Grever
Beth is the Technology Director at Big Foot High School. As Technology Director, she is responsible for ensuring all parts of the school’s IT infrastructure is functioning effectively. In 2020, she began working as a Technology Technician with the IT department. Recently, she earned her IT Network Administrator degree from Gateway Technical College, displaying her commitment to ever improving both Big Foot High School and herself.
Beth is dedicated to her family and has three children, two of whom have been part of the Big Foot High School community. Before joining the school, she proudly served in the US Navy and contributed 13 years to the insurance field. As a veteran, she is a member of the local Ingalls-Koeppen Post 102 American Legion, showing her dedication to the local community.
When away from the professional world, Beth loves spending time in the great outdoors; whether hiking through scenic trails, biking for adventure, or boating for relaxation, she finds solace and joy in nature. This diverse background and commitment to both technology and community have made her a well-rounded individual, contributing positively to the educational landscape at Big Foot High School.
