Shout out to Administrator Doug Parker! Big Foot High School Administrator , Doug Parker has been serving as one of the Co-Chairs of the WIAA Classification Committee for almost two years. School board members recently received a letter from Stephanie Hauser Executive Director of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association She wrote "The purpose of my note today is two-fold. First, I am writing today to express my gratitude to the Big Foot School District for supporting Doug in this service role on the Classification Committee. By allowing Doug to serve in this capacity, you can be confident that you have someone who will advocate for not only the students in your school district, but also for so many others across the state. Second, I wanted to let you know that Doug is doing an excellent job in this leadership role. Our staff and committee members have commented on the efficiency and effectiveness of his leadership style. I am confident that Doug will continue to do an excellent job in this role, and I want to again thank you for your support." The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA)'s classification committee is a panel of 15 members that hears appeals from schools regarding their division placement, including those related to the Competitive Balance Performance Factor. The committee is comprised of athletic directors, principals, and superintendents, and it considers various factors when deciding on a school's placement.
