Honor Night 6:00 pm BFHS Auditorium
Honors Night is a special evening dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of graduating seniors. It's a time for students to receive awards, scholarships,often in preparation for graduation day. The event is attended by students, their families, and often by representatives from local businesses and organizations. This year Big Foot High School is excited to welcome an Alumna from the Class of 2006 as our graduation speaker.
Dr. Aileen L Rowland, DVM, PhD was a member of the Big Foot High School Class of 2006. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science, Equine Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She also received a Doctor of Philosophy, Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University. Dr Rowland has been employed since 2023 as Associate Principal Scientist, Clinical Research at Merck Animal Health, Rahway, NJ. She is a veterinary scientist with a broad knowledge base and background in clinical medicine. She also has extensive experience with in vitro laboratory procedures and in vivo pre-clinical and clinical studies involving animal models. Her responsibilities include, Clinical study team leader, Design, coordinate, monitor, and report clinical laboratory and field studies to support regulatory approval of new companion animal and livestock products. In addition to being responsible for the conduct of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) studies. Welcome back to Big Foot high school Dr. Rowland
