Spring Play "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind" tonight APR 5th 7:00 PM and APR 6th at 2PM and 7PM at Big Foot High School. Having opened in 1988 and still playing today as the longest-running show in Chicago history, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind is an ensemble experiment in presenting "30 Plays in 60 Minutes." Each two-minute play is performed in random order with an interactive audience. An onstage 60-minute timer keeps everyone honest. This collection of 90 comic, tragic, political, personal, and abstract plays gives you the chance to program your own evening of 30 Neo-Futurist plays to reflect the lives and experiences of your own ensemble.

Costa Rica trip 7th day, in the morning , they went to a butterfly garden & insect informational center. In the afternoon they planted 4 trees to help build & area which has been touched by deforestation. They saw a few other animals. They were able to put their feet in the Pacific Ocean.

Costa Rica 6th day, they went zip lining & walked several trails. They saw coffee plants & banana plants. They came across an animal called the Coatimundi shown in the last photo. This animal is an omnivorous mammal native to the Americas and related to raccoons.

Costa Rica Day 5, they went kayaking in the morning followed by lunch. In the afternoon, they went horseback riding. They finished the day with a walk in the town of Santa Elena.

Update from Costa Rica trip-4th day, they left the island of Tortuguero & headed to La Fortuna where the volcano Arenal is located. It was cloudy, so they couldn’t see the volcano. They then went to the hot springs (thermal waters). The river is a hot springs from which the water of the pool comes from . They finished the night with a great dinner!

On the 3 day of BFHS students trip to Costa Rica they went on an exploration by boat through the channels in Tortuguero Island and a walk through some trails found in the place they are staying. They saw animals like: a baby caiman, many types of birds, 3 types of monkeys ( capuchin, spider & haulers) and iguanas. We’ll see what their next adventure will be!
