Jacob Dykstra had an eventful state convention earning a 3 star member award and giving his state officer candidate speech (he ran for state office and lost out to a student from Beaver Dam) in addition to receiving a 3rd place silver for plant systems in the Ag Fair.

Big Foot, FFA chapter ended the state convention as a gold rated chapter, getting 4th in the growing leaders division and 7th overall. They were also awarded and received recognition for the Food for America program.
Evan Henningfeld received second in his state star in agriscience. To compete in state star, you have to be earning your state degree and go through an interview process. Getting top five is a big accomplishment, Congratulations Evan for all your hard work.

Big Foot high school students are attending the Wisconsin state FFA convention in Madison this week. Yesterday was the day of service. The kids helped with a variety of projects, from packing meals to making beds.
