Girls Basketball Schedule Update - Start time on Monday 1/22 has been moved up to 5:30pm with Varsity starting at the conclusion of the JV game. Varsity and JV1 are still playing Monroe on Tuesday 1/23 but a game has been added for JV2 at Delavan.

Due to the closing of school tomorrow (1/11), here are the athletic event updates for this weekend.
Big Foot / Badger COOP swimming remains undefeated in conference meets. This past weekend the team participated in the highly competitive 30th Annual Marquette Invitational. The team placed 5th behind Middleton, Brookfield Co-op, Madison West and Franklin, in the 26 team field. Noah swam well placing 6th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.94, 13th in the 500 free with a time of 5:15.15 and 8th in the 200 free relay with teammates, Marcus Salter, Costa Scocos and Travis Warren with a time of 1:34.54.
Over break the team participated in the 24th Annual Metro Swim Official Association Invitational at Homestead High School. They placed 5th there also behind Arrowhead, Brookfield Co-op, Bay Port, and Franklin. Noah placed 5th in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:57.76 and 8th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:14.03.
Some adjustments have been made to athletic events with the potential of hazardous weather tomorrow, Tuesday 1/9.

The Big Foot girl basketball team hosted the Parkview Vikings on Friday, Jan 5. Big Foot won the game 57-41. The leading scorers for lady chiefs were senior Addie Larson with 22 points and freshman Leah Paulsen with 17 points. Attached are photos of these two girls taken during this game by Peter.

What a great first annual Battle of Geneva Lake Holiday Tournament! Congratulations to the Badger Girls & Big Foot Boys on winning the tournament.
Congratulations to Jack Nelson for setting a new Big Foot Boys Basketball school record (according to the records we have). During the teams win vs. Williams Bay, Jack set the school record for scoring the most 3's made in a single game with eight recorded!

The team finished up the two-day Hamilton Holiday Duals in Milwaukee today with 3 dual wins. Carter Ries finished a perfect 10-0 at 157, earning himself a gold medal. Jonah Henningfeld (113) and Will Wojcik (175) finished 8-2 for a bronze medal, and Jake DeMarco (190) just missed out on medalling at 7-3. The team is off until Thursday, January 4th when they travel to Edgerton for their first RVC dual meet of the season.
