In their final Conference game of the season the Chiefs beat Edgerton 14-8 on Tuesday night. Connor Weeks provided some key offense driving in 4 runs including a game-tying 2-run home run. Josh Martinez reached base all 5 times and scored 3 runs. Winning pitcher Konnor Glos pitched a strong 6 innings. The Chiefs play at Martin Luther for Thursday’s regional matchup.

BFWB Track and Field competed at the WIAA Regional meet last night! Congratulations to Kaden Rambatt for claiming another Regional Champ title in the Pole Vault! BFWB has 11 student-athletes advancing to the next round, which is being held at Big Foot on Thursday!

WEATHER UPDATES: Due to different weather coming in across the state, here are a couple sport updates.

The Chiefs Baseball Team played outstanding team defense last night, turning 3 double plays, and got great pitching from Haeberlin, Jacobs, and Weeks to beat Monroe 7-1.

Last night the baseball team held their senior night honoring their senior players Will Wojcik, Matt Haeberlin, and Matt Special and also their senior manager Eleanor Paulson. The game was very close as Konnor Glos pitched 5 scoreless innings and gave up their one and only run in the 6th with Skylar Jacobs in relief shutting the down in the 7th. Great hit by Matt Special and SAC bunt by Glos to move him into scoring position allowing a basehit by Josh Martinez moved runners to the corners for Special to score on a throwing error and Martinez later scoring on an Evan Henningfeld SAC Fly. Chiefs get the win in the end playing 7 innings of great defense and overall baseball and sending the seniors out with a good game.

The Baseball team was gifted a great opportunity to play at the ABC supply stadium in Beloit last night. All though they came up short, Connor Weeks and Matt Haeberlin had a great night on the mound along with great plays on defense! kept the score close with a final score of 4-0

Congrats to 2 singles player Jack Kammermeier on placing 3rd and the 3 doubles team of Jackson Hirn and Michael Pecht on placing 2nd. Overall BFWB tennis finished 5th at the RVC tournament.

Tyler Short shot a sizzling 3 under par to win in a sudden death playoff to be crowned Conference Champion. Big Foot came in second as a team. Patrick Corey and Tyler Short named first team all conference.

Big Win for the Big Foot Softball team - It was a DH Night against #1 State Ranked Brodhead: 1st game: Big Foot 2 —- Brodhead 3 Big Foot had 4 hits: Lily Wolf 2-4 with a run and double Kate Hummel 0-2 with an RBI groundout Holly Kynell 0-3 with an RBI groundout Claire Patek 1-3 Mylee Walter 1-3 2nd Game: Big Foot 4 —- Brodhead 2 Lily Wolf 4-4 with a double - 3 runs scored Brylee Parrott 1-4 with a go ahead 2-run double in the top of the 3rd! Holly Kynell for the win! 4 hits on 2 runs. Biggest win for the Big Foot Softball Team in a long time! Gave the last year State D3 Champion Broadhead (14-1) their only loss in conference this year! Big Foot was a well deserved 2nd place in Conference with a 10-5 record.

BFWB Boys Tennis Varsity wins 5-2 over Whitewater and JV wins 3-2!

We are excited to announce that Collin Frederick and Tyler Heck have been appointed as the new Co-Head Coaches of the Big Foot High School Football Program. Their combined experience and dedication to the sport promise a bright future for our team. Collin and Tyler have been on the football staff at Big Foot for many years and are the current President and Vice President of the Big Foot Wolves youth football organization. Collin is a Big Foot graduate and owns Austin Pier Service with his family in Walworth. Tyler taught at Walworth Elementary & Middle School for several years and currently teaches Math at Big Foot High School and is the Head Wrestling Coach. Congratulations to both Collin and Tyler!

Big Foot golf team once again had a strong performance placing 3rd out of 15 teams as Big Foot hosted their annual invite at Lake Lawn Resort. Tyler Short lead the way with another 1st place finish shooting 4 under par. Patrick Corey finished 8th, Jack Nelson finished 18th, Dakota Nordmeyer & AJ Hartman finished 25th.
